A CHILDHOOD MARKED BY FAITH

To understand Annie Carmelle Otto Mbongo Eyenga's journey, one must go back to her early years. Born into a family deeply attached to Christian values, she grew up in an environment where faith occupied a central place.

Her father was a devout Catholic, while her mother attended the Evangelical Church of Congo. But it was above all the figure of her maternal grandfather, a deacon in Pointe-Noire, who would profoundly shape her spiritual journey. "My grandfather was one of the first instruments God used to place His Word in my heart," she confides. Family visits then became genuine moments of biblical teaching. Sitting beside him, the young Carmelite discovered the stories of the Old Testament, the values ​​of service, and the importance of a personal relationship with God. Very early on, those around her noticed an uncommon maturity in her.

Even at school, she displayed a natural sense of responsibility and a particular concern for others. A disposition she would later interpret as the first signs of a divine calling.

THE FIRST STEPS FROM A MINISTRY

At just twelve years old, the Swedish missionaries in Pointe-Noire entrusted her with the responsibility of teaching at the Sunday School (ECODIM). This role allowed her to develop her leadership skills and her ability to transmit the faith. A few years later, she joined the "Ngunga" choir, where she actively participated in leading worship services. This early involvement in the life of the Church helped shape her vocation.

Yet, nothing at this point foreshadows the magnitude of the ministry she will later undertake. After her university studies, she pursued her spiritual quest with a growing conviction: that she had been called by God to a particular mission.

A CALL THAT CHANGE A LIFE

The decisive turning point came in the early 2000s. Annie Carmelle Otto Mbongo Eyenga recounts having a profound spiritual experience that would definitively shape her life. “The Lord revealed Himself to me, and I heard His voice say, ‘Carmelle, my servant, build me a temple of marble.’ I immediately understood that God was entrusting me with a special mission.” This experience became the foundation of her ministerial commitment. Between 2001 and 2003, she underwent significant spiritual and theological formation. Eager to deepen her biblical knowledge, she pursued studies at the Berea Academy in Seoul, South Korea, where she earned a master’s degree in theology. March 31, 2004, marked a historic milestone in her journey. She was officially consecrated and ordained at the Parliament Building in Brazzaville as Prophet of the Nations and visionary of the Christian Assembly, City of the King of Kings. Since then, she has dedicated her life to teaching the Gospel, providing spiritual guidance, and edifying believers.

Without claiming to be engaged in militant struggle, she encourages women called to ministry to fully exercise their spiritual responsibilities.

A PASTORAL VISION FOCUSED ON TRANSFORMATION

For the Bishop-Prophet of the Nations, ministry is not just about preaching. It is above all about transforming lives. Through her teachings, conferences, evangelistic campaigns, and prayer programs, she has accompanied thousands of people facing the challenges of daily life for over twenty years. Her pastoral approach rests on three pillars: listening, closeness, and accompaniment. Within the City of the King of Kings Assemblies Community, many members testify to having regained confidence, family stability, and hope thanks to this spiritual guidance. Reconciled families, revealed vocations, young people redirected toward constructive projects, and believers renewed in their faith are among the fruits of this ministry. "The Kingdom of God must produce visible changes in the lives of men and women," she likes to remind us.

"When God calls, no human barrier can prevent the fulfillment of His will," she affirms.

A FAITH THAT TRANSLATES IN CONCRETE ACTIONS

One of the distinctive features of Annie Carmelle Otto Mbongo Eyenga's ministry lies in its commitment to connecting spirituality with social action. Convinced that faith must respond to realities on the ground, she founded the Christian Foundation for Humanitarian Action and Development (FCAHD). Through this organization, she supports various initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations. Aid to families in difficulty, support for impoverished individuals, social support, and community projects are among the foundation's activities. "Faith without works loses some of its power. Serving God is also serving humanity," she regularly emphasizes.

While her spiritual mission remains central to her commitment, Annie Carmelle Otto Mbongo Eyenga is also recognized in the business world. At the helm of the Exotic Palace bakery, pastry shop, and tea room, located in the heart of Brazzaville, she has championed for several years a vision of entrepreneurship based on value creation, social responsibility, and economic empowerment.

For her, the company is a powerful tool for social transformation. Job creation, the promotion of local skills and contribution to the national economy are fully part of her vision of development.

This experience also allows her to encourage young entrepreneurs, especially women, to believe in their potential. "Work, discipline, and perseverance remain essential keys to success," she insists.

Over the years, the influence of his ministry has extended far beyond the borders of Congo, notably to Cameroon, Ivory Coast, the Republic of Congo and South Africa.

Through her teaching, international encounters, and humanitarian work, Annie Carmelle Otto Mbongo Eyenga pursues a vision focused on community building and human development. Her commitment has been recognized with several awards, including the "Mwasi ya Nsomi" Excellence Award, received in 2010 in Côte d'Ivoire, presented by Dr. Harris C., in the Religion category. But beyond the awards, it is the impact of her work on the people she serves that remains her greatest source of satisfaction.
